These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of GradeNext's website and learning platform, operated from Livermore, California. By creating an account or enrolling a student, you agree to these Terms.
GradeNext provides AI-driven academic tutoring (Math, Science, Language Art) and computer programming instruction for students from KG through high school. Accounts are intended for use by the enrolled student under a parent or legal guardian's supervision, consistent with our obligations under COPPA for users under 13.
Regular Subjects plans (Basic, Pro, Advanced) are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically until cancelled, in accordance with California's Automatic Renewal Law (Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code §17600 et seq.) — you will always be able to cancel online without contacting customer service by phone. Programming courses are purchased individually at a fixed, one-time price and do not auto-renew.
Accounts may not be shared outside the enrolled family, and the platform may not be used for any unlawful, abusive, or academically dishonest purpose. Mentors and staff should be treated with respect at all times.
GradeNext is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted under California law, GradeNext's total liability for any claim arising from these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute not resolved informally will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in San Mateo County, California.
We may update these Terms from time to time; material changes will be notified by email or in-app notice. Continued use of GradeNext after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
